Popped out for the first time this year with the camera this afternoon, not great conditions but I ended up with this:

That's my kind of landscape shot. A wee bit of barrel distortion obvious but sometimes that adds to the dynamism of the take.

I'm getting the distortion too but nothing that can't be fixed. It's a cracking seascape, losing a bit of sky might make it a stronger picture.

I too see the distortion. I really like the composition, soft light, muted colors, and the blur on the water. Well done.

Thanks chaps, I'll look into the distortion. I'm on my laptop which probably hasn't got my defaults on it so corrections probably haven't been applied. That said the horizon looks about perfect and the headland on the right is heading away at about 45 degrees so it is noticeably lower on the right hand side as it's a few miles closer to the camera.

Good one Barry - yes a smidge off the top will help with the composition.

Great shot, Barry. I agree with the crop for balance.

Good one. Has a nice calmness to it.
