Friend came over to help me test out new lighting.

    What do you think?

I think she has huge potential as a model. The light looks a little to even and flat to me, not enough shadow for shape to be defined.

A nice shot, yes the lighting maybe a little flat for some people but if that's what you wanted then all is well and good. As it was test to try out new lighting then you have succeeded, now try moving the light around to get different effects.

    Agree with both comments.
Always shoot how you like it to be but I think lighting is too flat for body position. I like shadows but that's personal.
Nice looking model and great she is a friend.

If this is your first try out with a new light set up i would say you have done very well, as said in other comments you can now try different settings and move your lights around for different effects. Oh and can you send her round to mine for a shoot.

I think you need to get her round for more shoots. She looks a great subject to have as a friend.

All I would add is I tend to like a little more light around the eyes. Not sure if it's the makeup that is dark or as is often the light seems to struggle to get in the eye depressions
