Managed 3 pics on my walk this evening before a downpour chased us home. Our common has several of these foot bridges and I am always attracted to the textures in the old wood and fields of grass.

Thanks Mike, I'm pretty sure a lot of those details in the sky were responsible for me having to dry out my camera bag when I got home. ;)

Lovely work Ryan. I love B&W and this one is no exception! In saying that, however, I do like to push the boundaries and I think this is one that I'd love to play with if you don't mind? I promise it won't hurt :)

Thanks Ryan. This may not be to everyone's taste but I love to play with the contrasts in B&W images to give them some punch. I added a standard B&W Gradient layer (Overlay Mode) and then a Levels layer with the settings below. easy 2 layer adjustment which adds some drama to the sky and lifts the shadows in the foreground.
