G'day All

From April 2020, Australia is in "informal lockdown" with travel restrictions imposed by the federal and state governments. It makes it nearly impossible to travel and for me, the love of photography will be harder to fulfill ~ but with care, I can still walk around my home district.

So I intend to offer members of this forum images from my archives ... and I encourage others here to do the same

Hope this helps bring a smile to your day
Phil

Barrel Racing at a rodeo

The contestants push their horses around a figure-8 course as fast as they can without touching a barrel or losing control of the horse

You're not alone Phil, our annual winter trip has been postponed and the fourby and off road camper are in mothballs.
Here's a shot from the Lang Lang rodeo back in 2013, barrel included :)

#2-- Challicum Hills, western Victoria
When it was commissioned back in 2003-4 this wind farm was Australia's largest wind farm with 63 turbines. Today there are larger facilities to be found across the country. This image was taken from the viewing area about 1-1/2km away from the turbines

Thanks mate
This was the female of the pair on the nest - so that would explain its 'lesser' size.
