I was wondering if anyone had any experience mounting the M mount 7artisans 28mm 1.4, on the Leitz/Leica/Minolta CL? I've realised that the majority of m mount lenses aren't compatible with the camera, due to the precarious positioning of the light metre in the camera gate. I haven't been able to find out whether the 7artisans 28mm has a short enough rear element for the Leitz CL?

The CL only has framelines for 40/50/90, so i'll probably invest in a hotshoe viewfinder, or implement a bit of guess work into the framing.

Thank you

I can't find anyone on the web that has tried this lens on the film CL.

The 7artisans 50/1.1 cannot be used. The rear element protrudes to far, I did try it. From looking at photographs of the 28/1.4, it looks similar to my lens.
