    Hey all,

After unloading an exposed roll this suddenly happened to my A-1 - the winder won't advance. Double exposure latch fires the shutter. Battery is good. Maybe the little button on the bottom of it is stuck? Shouldn't the counter move past 0?

Here's a youtube video of my cam with the issue:

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Alex

    Hey Roger,

It does sound similar. Although - the shutter fires perfectly when I flip the double exposure latch. Wouldn't that indicate that the shutter is operating correctly (and isn't stuck?).

Maybe I'm not understand the problem correctly.

I've found this tutorial for fixing the AE-1, which I guess would be the same as fixing the A-1?

    Thanks!
