I'm nipping back in for a little bit as I've finally managed to get a few photos of my little man and one of his friends all ready for Christmas!

Lovely set, I like the light BG, although the black works well too. The purity of babies skin and their fantastic eyes are great for starters, posing them is the hard work and you've done a great job.

Great set Katie but number 4 has it by a head on the cuteness scale!
Yes that's my favourite too. It's just me and the boy during the week so I need to make sure I enlist the hubby to help me get some similarly cute shots of him as they're not quite able to support themselves yet!

Thank you!

These are fantastic, and cuteness overload.
I do like the lighter background, and the bokeh lights (?) add that little extra

Great shots! Loving the eyes on all of these. The little lights/bokeh in the lighter backgrounds are a nice touch.

these are lovely Kate. How did you do the bokeh spots?
Have you smoothed them? They look flawless but it works.

Hey guys, sorry I missed these last few messages! Thank you all for your lovely comments.

@tenchy I bought some LED string bulbs that have super thin wire (like copper wire) and just used a really wide aperture. I think I dropped the clarity in some of the pics but I checked the SOOC for these and they are exactly the same apart from exposure. The lights were actually a good learning process.. the first pictures I used LED lights that had quite a thick but clear wire, but that needed quite a bit of photoshop of the strings, so I switched to these lights with the thin wires. I put weights on the end so that they'd hang properly but then the lights were way too uniform in straight lines so I ended up cloning them and moving them left and right! Finally, I used the natural curl in the wires from how they were wound up to let them hang randomly behind the subject and it worked far better, just a little cloning here and there to improve the locations of the bokeh dots.

Great set and enjoy your first Christmas!
Thanks Edward, we really did thank you. I hope you are well!
