While out photographing him I thought I would try a little video. Not only did I leave the tripod in the car, but I also forgot to put the dead cat on the mic. As a result the audio is a bit crackly, and in places I have used free stabilisation tools to steady the shot. It has lost a little sharpness as a result. Video is very new to me and I have little clue how to edit such things. All tips appreciated.

Never seen one. Heard them in the Highlands but never managed to spot one.

They are getting thin on the ground. This one at Thursley is quite a star. I’ve sat there when Danny Boyle showed up with his camera. Also see Frank Gardener there each year. He made a few funny comments about the camo brigade on Radio 4. There were a few on his last visit.

Ah well, if that's the kind of bellers the bird is attracting I'm glad I haven't seen one.:D;)

plenty of moments when I wished someone of your outspoken nature had been present. The local A&E would probably have a run on tripod extractions.

It wouldn't be the first time I'd sent someone there. Never tried a tripod insertion tho. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, food for thought:D:D:D:D

I've never seen nor heard these, but that sounds like the mating calls I heard from some of the women I've dated.
