Confluence of two glacial fed rivers. Shot from a ridge looking down.

Yes well very interesting,are those people on the forshore.?Water has a unusual colour.

My theory is this is because they are glacial fed and also the shot was made looking down almost vertically to give this color. Not sure of the physics behind this. Yes there is a beach with people on it.

River confluences are interesting. The Colorado river as it passes through the grand canyon is very brown. If you see where it opens up into lake mead from the air there is a distinct line where the water changes from brown to green. Quite amazing to see

You are right about that. I have seen a few of the confluences myself. They tend to show unusual colors at mixing point.

Its always interesting to see how two different bodies of water interact. Great shot.
