    The first one could be such a special picture but have to ask, what is going on with the trees on the left and other bizarre grey areas around the picture Sundar?

    That must be an artifact while was cleaning up the image. I did notice it and thought I had fixed it. I will post the original.

    Much prefer the original without the artefacts but the one you've shown here is a different frame from the one at the top of the page.

    You are right. I noticed later I had put in a frame one removed from the earlier posting, by mistake. It is pretty much the same scenery. Here is the correct frame (with no cropping).

    That's the one, thanks. Has much more impact than the other original you posted. For example, all of the foreground trees in the one above are below the trees in the background. To me that's fairly important.
    I really like it.

    very nice set of atmospheric shots.

    alsi prefer the version without the editing artefacts. That one looks like the base needed some more feathering
