Wow, tough choice here, Paul. I really like both formats. Honestly I looked at the portrait first and thought that dropping the right hand rail into the bottom corner would work better and then when I got to the landscape format my thought was "nailed it".

Tough choice, but I am leaning toward the first.

Landscape for me Paul with it being lighter on the hills, even with the clouds.

Both great photos, but if I have to pick, it's the landscape. I feel like I'm able to move into the space of the photo, and the processing is better.

There’s not much in it but I prefer the landscape version. The portrait I think would be better with the bottom cropped to make the bridge start at the corner.

Landscape format for me. The added water on the left really adds to it.

If in doubt I tend to choose landscape for landscapes and portrait for people.

Is that a new sky in the first?

Much preferring the second - lovely.

No Edward both original skies, just processed differently.
