Was in my local Dixons this afternoon for another reason, but spotted a load of 'Reduced' stickers on the SLR lenses behind the counter.

Had a closer look, and ended up buying the Sigma, 28-300 f3.5 Macro for £95.00. It seemed like too good a chance to miss.

Talking to the spotty-faced youth behind the counter, it appears that Dixons have decided to only carry genuine manufacturer lenses, ie: Nikon, Canon, Minolta etc, and are selling off their stocks of Tamron, Sigma etc.

Might be an idea to get doen to your local shop and fill yer boots!
