Well I am on the Iowa/ Illinois Border on interstate 80 that runs across the top of the country and we have 3 lock and dams here and are one of the largest bald eagle sanctuariy and breeding grounds. and a couple hundred miles south of my by st louis in Alton Illinois is another. so we get a lot round here. and they say we are a Major breeding ground for Pelicans and Blue Herons. I know thers 2 spots for them that have thousands but with all the back waters and sloughs and island lakes in this area of the mississippi it wouldnt surprise me
