I've been watching how to make things glow with Photoshop on youtube. I had a try with a mushroom shot I took. I went for that mystical glowing look. I'd appreciate your CCs.

Concept looks good, Mike. I like the light on the foliage, though the fluffy mushroom doesn't do a lot for me - I think possibly because it's not sharp and focussed throughout.

Good job Mike. The light and falloff seem realistic. Generating realistic light post, requires careful consideration of all the little details, which is why I would disagree with the earlier comments on the mushroom. Light emanating "from" an object will decrease the detail in the object as it did here.

Thanks Pete and Piquet. Ideally I would have liked to focus stack but it was a real challenge just getting 1 shot in focus at such a slow shutter speed and camera on the ground.

Thank you. I did go for the soft mystical look.

I like the concept and I was going to try this myself.

Good job. Sometimes less is more I would have reduced the glow on the actual mushroom quite a bit but that's purely my taste.
