Hello from Lincoln, UK

Hi All

Steve from Lincoln here, I have been using a DSLR for just over two years now, I enjoy a range of photography including Night Photography, Street/Urban Photography, Wildlife & Nature and also more recently club photographer for local non league club Lincoln United. (Northern Premier League Division One East)

I got into photography about 7 years ago after buying a little bridge camera (Fuji HS10) which I bought initially to simply get better pics than my little point and squirt I had at the time and I also developed the bug for photography. I upgraded to a Nikon D5300 two and half years ago, after which my hobby got a little more serious and the bug for photography exploded!

Looking forward to posting here more often

Looking for a cause.
Hi Steve (we have a few Steves now) and welcome to the forum... I had the Hs10 and enjoyed it very much until I dropped it on a concrete floor.
Looking forward to seeing some of your work soon.

Thank you! I guess the floor was tougher than the HS10 then...! Still have mine but very rarely used now, it was a very faithful camera in its time as my main camera but I got to the stage where wanted to expand, especially with night photography where the smaller sensor of the HS10 just could not cope with the limits I wanted it to go to
