Good morning all. I’ve had a nightmare with my Pentax this morning and I’m really panicking.
I have a Pentax loaded with a 36 exposure film roll. I’m on 33 photos and decided I didn’t want anymore so I pressed the film release button on the bottom and began to rewind the film until the handle broke off! I then panicked even more by testing to see if there was film still left, so I pressed the shutter release button a few times and seemingly took some photos , like 3 or 4.
Have I ruined my film roll? Is there any way to rewind the film and get it out? The handle on the camera that broke off is also what I need to open the back of the camera (something I won’t wan’t to do just yet as the film would get exposed!)
Not that it makes a difference but there are some precious holiday photos on there so I want to make absolutely sure I can salvage a few if I haven’t ruined them all already!
Taking it to a camera shop on my lunch break but until then I’d love to hear something that’ll calm me down
