I need help please my snapping friends

    I know this is one of the basics of digital photography but it's something I have never had to do and as I don't use photoshop in bugged

    I need to resize photos to

    2048xp 72dpi no bigger than 1mb

    For uploading

    I don't have a clue please help me

    if you look at my signature, the posting images link has tutorials on resizing for the forum. just substitute 2048 where they say 1024 pixels. Don't worry about the DPI, the 2048 pixels and 1mb filesize are all you need.

    I think he means the part about resizing images. I looked earlier and couldn't find it either.

    Yes mate I mean resize basically there is a new system in place within the company and I need to size the photos to the above dimensions from now on

    hiya I don't use that much software I have just downloaded corel paint shop ot see if that will resize but still trying

    Well I just sent a photo across where I reduced the size only and it was not excepted they say it has to be

    2048 do
    72dpi
    1mb

    No bigger

    I've tried all over the net and I'm lost

    All righty then! Here's a free on-line resizer for you to try out. You can save to disk, cloud, or to your web site if you want. Did I mention that it's free and easy?

    This link should (in my opinion) be sent as part of the opening email to every new member and also kept as a saved shortcut for every moderator to give when someone asks this question. It is simple to use and it saves us other members trying to find out what software they use and then to describe how to save it.

    This loading of attachments seems to catch out nearly every inexperienced and budding photographer who's new to the forum.
