I had been following uploads through the week, and I must say there has been some excellent macro and wildlife images uploaded and I thought I had chosen my IOTW, then Minor Problem uploaded this Egret. It had everything for me, great contrast against the dark background and a rippled reflection in the water and nothing else to distract your eye.

Stunning shot. The egret is so hard to expose well and often a pig to get close to. That for me make this image really top notch.

Thanks hugely for this. As someone with very little patience it was very rewarding coming away with a few decent images.
