It fell upon me to me to pick the image of the week this week. I had help from one of my daughters but I really think she just wanted to see the animal photos.

This one is different than something I normally like. It is a "fake" situation because of the subject, but I still really liked it as a photograph. According to the post this was taken at a WW II reenactment. This week the IOTW goes to @stanm for The Kiss Goodbye

The shot was taken at the 'Home Leave' weekend at the Watercress Line railway on Boxing Day.

They have a similar and bigger event in the summer called War on the Line
