Is it possible to remove the hot shoe from a Spotmatic F?

I got a spotmatic which seems lovely and I really love how it looks. I think I prefer them with no hot shoe though cause I like the sloped hump that houses the prism.

Just wondered if anyone knows if/how it can be removed?

Here a lot
If the accessory shoe is a hot shoe (and I think it is on a Spotmatic F) then there will be wiring between the shoe and the shutter so not easily removable - and will leave a hole somewhere for the wires. Anything can be removed, of course, if you're not fussy about the result.

That makes sense I'll just leave it alone. Just in case there was a way to take it off easily like on some Olympus cameras! Cheers
