Lots of tributes to honour our Anzac Heros today. Because of social distancing rules in W.A. people were asked to pay tribute in their front yards instead of attending a Dawn Service. Many responded and this is just a couple of the thousands that paid their respects. Lest We Forget!

A very different Anzac Day for us downunder. No dawn services and no Anzac Day parades, very sad, but many people managed to do their own tributes in their front yards.

Great set.
Cheers SG. Anzac Day is a very special day that everyone respects and supports here in Australia. Thanks for looking.

All very true John, but the response from everyone was unique and something that will be treasured for many years to come. Thank you.

The Band Played Waltzing Matilda.
Thanks for the memory Eoanthropus. It's a much revered song by many here and along with "The Last Post" it always tugs at the heart strings - for me especially - and often brings a tear. My dear cousin Graham Edwards, lost his legs in Vietnam. He is an amazing man and when he came home he was an inspiration to me and many others. This is his story HERE which will explain why the song is so poignant for me.

As Isac mentioned his emotional connection to "The Band Played Waltzing Matilda", this song by Aussie band Redgum always causes me to shed a tear.

Good set.
Much appreciated Don, thank you. 25th of April is probably the most important date on our Australian and New Zealand calendar.
