A day shooting in a butterfly house yesterday as weather was not good for outside photography.

Full frame with my canon 100 f2.8 L IS macro and ring flash

Nice image. Was there a little bit of movement as it all looks slightly OOF to my eye or maybe a little sharpening is needed.

    thanks David

they dont stay very still but the eye looks OK to me so thinking it could be more limited depth of field with the macro lens

This is a side view of a similar butterfly - better ?

Like the point of view of the first, and yes the eyes are nice and sharp, but depth of field would be a problem there.
Like second shot too. Unusual colours, very understated.
