    Hi All

My first post of an image here. A couple of snaps from last Saturday I took from a local football match where I am the clubs photographer (a voluntary role, not professional!), taken on my faithful Nikon D5300 and my 55-300mm 4.5-5.6f tele lens with back button continuous focus and a single focus point.

Great pictures Steve, no 3 if I had to pick a favourite and no 4 my least if I am honest.

2 and 3 are the best. Caught the action well. If it were me, I'd just tighten the crop to add impact.
The first one suffers from the key players having their back to the shot.
The fourth doesn't really hold the viewer's interest.
Thanks for posting - good to see more football shots on here!

I always felt that football is a difficult game to photograph, you have done well here, look forward to seeing more from you.

Thank you all for your comments, been out again this weekend for another home game, a bit more challenging this weekend with the conditions but will post a couple up later in a new thread.
