I pass this all the time but it is usually facing away from a very cluttered un-photogenic background, today they parked a bit better for a photo op.

Thanks guys, when it faces the other way from this angle all you would see is a construction site putting up a block of flats so I got a bit lucky today.

Thanks Brian, my in-law is always reminiscing about the good old days in his Morris Minors and while they are interesting cars I prefer to reminisce about my mom's old mustang, it was a little faster...;)

Had a play about with a colour pop.
If such an image offends anyone here, turn away now.:)

colour pop works well for this car and the shade of green... however.....you've popped the buildings through the cars windows too..

Ha I thought someone would point that out.
The walls seen through the windows are the exact same shade as the mono only shot, they just look like they have colour by a trick of the eye. I made a selection of the car minus the brick seen through the windows into a separate colour layer and positioned it over the complete image in mono.

The pop is fine, it works. Using Elements to pop is the easiest, as it selects the colour - unless you had green downpipes :)

Thanks Steve, I don't have Elements but isn't it just a reduced feature version of PS? It would be great If I already have a feature that will do all the monotonous work of making a selection for me.
Cheers Kevin, I like the pop but the mono is still my favorite version.

I like them both Ryan but the B&W wins by a nose. Very common here in Australia. Heaps of people I know had one.
