I went to the Moto x track today as it was the first day of opening for this year. The track was in a bad state after heavy rain lastnight but it didn't stop the riders. I wasn't sure wether to go or not as it very cold in the wind and after just getting over the flu I didn't want to freeze, but I braved for it an hour, conditions for photography weren't great as it was bright sunshine which was reflecting off the water and also the bikes, but it was nice to get out with the camera again after two months of not taking a shot.

The last shot is the first time on the track for this brand new bike.

You have captured the action well. Maybe you should had jumped on one of the bikes that would get you warm.

It did but got a bit muddy, I caught most of the mud lol. I've learnt not to go over there and shoot with nice clothes on, so I go like a tramp.

Thankyou could of done better. I got quite warm after a while after walking around the track with 6 inches of mud on my boots.

Thanks Pete, Think I could of done better but my head is still not in the right place but it was great to be out and about again.

It was a tad boggy and a few came off and I got splattered a few times.

    Thanks Roger.

Good action and wheel movements - muddy or what?

Out of your control Paul, but the low winter sun gives a lot of unwanted bright spots and shadows, next time say a prayer for light diffused cloud, lol.

Another shot showing how bad the conditions were for me and the riders. Not the sharpest shot. _MG_7329a.jpg

That mud looks incredible! I can imagine your boots were the size of buckets as the sticky stuff clung to them, I think I would have given it a miss.

I was knackered after walking around the track with muddy boots, but it's exciting to watch.
