Next time you revamp it would be a good idea to have a responsive site ...that is one that works well on tablets and phones many users favour mobile devices now over a desktop PCThank you all.
I designed and built the site using Serif Webplus X8.
I was using Foliopic but got thoroughly fed up with the limitations that were being placed on me, hence to move to Webplus.
I have the choice of something like a hundred templates, with a load of schemes for those templates, or I have the choice, as I did here, of building my own template.
Webplus cost me in the region of £80 to buy the unrestricted licence
I've included some script that allows a full screen slideshow that should be responsive to tablets and phones. However, I can't get the script to automatically open to a full screen - I have to ask the viewer to press the F11 key.Next time you revamp it would be a good idea to have a responsive site ...that is one that works well on tablets and phones many users favour mobile devices now over a desktop PC
Thanks for that Paul. Not to impressed on my phone to be honest better to make a site properly responsive I still have to struggle with stuff until I get to f11 .........Not many would bother.
But it does look good when you eventually manage to get to it
No Rebel, you haven't missed it. I've been far too busy to think about that yet. Let me get the basics sorted out and I'l put the finishing touches later.I may have missed it ... but is there an "About me" section ... I generally like to read about the person whos web page Im looking at.
Nips to checkWell, I've finally done it. After trying with 15 different templates I've finally managed to get a Wordpress Template to display as I want it.
Anybody accessing my site with a mobile phone will now be automatically be redirected to this fully responsive set of galleries.
