Gallery-1.jpg So im working on a new gallery for the house on a very bare wall we have and have short listed it to these photos. Was wondering if you could give me your honest opinion.

All photos taken with a Canon 100D(Rebel SL1) and edited in Lightroom.

Might be better if you edit your post and click on the button which will show image full size , plus if you want members to comment a number to every image will help.

I agree it would be helpful for these to be full size. I quite like #1 the cathedral interior shot, the angle is interesting and the stained glass in pretty spectacular. I think the WB could use some work though as everything has a orange hue.

I hope you don't mind but I had a little play to see If I could tweak the WB and tone down some blown highlights. Probably not perfect and these places are notoriously hard to get right but it brings out some of the colours cast on the ceiling that were being drowned out by the orange.

I know exactly what you are talking about, I have been trying to get my local cathedral right for a while now.

Nice collection there. The cathedral in Barcelona is real strange isn't it. I was fascinated by the place when we visited. Gaudi was really creative with his designs

I love the place, I took like 100 photos, its just crazy in there though really hard to find an angle for a photo and my lens just wasn't wide enough to really capture it all.

1, 3 and 9 for me. I think maybe a slight lift in the shadows of 3 would help to bring out a little more detail. I assume it's meant to be a high contrast image, but I do think a tiny bit more detail in the shadows would make it the winner (for me anyway).

    Great set though.

I have been playing around with that since posting them, but it always looses 'something'

Unfortunately we might have to wait another 150 years before they finish building the cathedral. But I'll see how it looks. Thanks for the tips.
