Just Sharing New coot arrivals

    Been watching a coot nest for about three weeks, which has five eggs in it.
    Seems that two young have been born in the past 24 hours.

    I know nature has some in particular colors in order to have predators avoid them...reasons like "poisonous" etc...
    I wonder if this is the case for the little ones here....a false sense that the little ones are not good to eat.
