That is one weird looking beast.

Back in the day when I was using a Zenit E I lusted after a Pentax. Never got one and looking at that probably never will.

The coloured part is obviously to help those that don't know where to hold the camera :)
Made me laugh a bit as it's probably going to be sold to folk who don't know much. Kinda reminded me of that range of Hasselblads which were no more than rebadged Sony with a bit of tree stuck to them.

There was something about the design of the older Pentax that were very appealing; closest thing I've seen that looks like them now are the Fuji X-T series. I always wanted to get a Pentax ME when I was younger but as I'd already got an Olympus, it wasn't really worth changing.

Not so much a new camera as a limited edition variant of the existing RP. Apparently the colour options are very popular in Japan - can't guess why! I'd probably be after a discount if I couldn't have a nice plain version. :)
