Great set. Do they get redder over there or is this a youngun? I haven't seen an orange chested one here but I'm no expert.

When young they have very little if any breast colour …… they don't go red at all, and apparently they are called Redbreasts because Orange as the name of a colour was unknown in English until the 16th century, by which time the fruit had been introduced.

Thanks @David_MC , I'm beginning to get it now ..... lol

Great set Paul, Ive got to go round to my daughters as she has one nesting there, the classic shot in a strawberry pot. Dont want to disturb the bird though, read some interesting facts about them, 4 or 5 eggs at a time and sometimes the same over a year, but they seemingly are lucky to get through the first twelve months. Eldest known was 19 years.

excellent series, the vivid green leaves plays nicely off of the orange feathers.
