I was asked by a customer to produce a fine art image for his car, an early Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera and this is what I came up with.

Lights bounced off the ceiling and edited it photoshop.

All C&C welcome.

Nice! Car and image.

I haven't shot many cars, and I realize it's a silhouette, but I probably would have shot some extra shots, light painting areas like the windshield and back window to get a highlight line to define the shape of the glass better, and other areas like wheels and tires. Using them as layers gives you the flexibility to hide/show as needed for that extra detail.

It's great Dave but not a patch on your amazing E Type which was along a similar line. Less was much more with that one.

Another iconic car shape that most will recognise. While, as Barry indicates, not as unique as your E type image, I bet your customer was over the moon with this one as I bet they didn't expect this sort of result.

like others i'd like to see just a tiny bit of light on the front and back of the car to give some shape to the glass, headlights, etc. gorgeous image, love the smooth tones of the car fading to shadow at the bottom.

Love this stuff that you do, Dave. I like the fact that there's no glass reflection (ie, no glass) at all - a different look.
Only niggle is that there is a bright spot on the headlight, which looks like a bit of dust rather than glass, so I would be inclined to remove it.
