Just been to Bologna in Italy for a short city break, not strictly a photography holiday but I took my Nikon Z6 and decided to buy the 24-70 f4 lens to lighten my kit, got it used from MPB and I must say they were excellent. Anyway back to the image, I found this Portico with this large lantern hanging from the ceiling and the light looked just right for a street scene so it was a matter of waiting for someone to enter to complete the picture. Waited for the light to highlight her and took the shot. All cc welcome.

I like the results but would prefer a tighter crop in.

Loving it Dave. I know a lot like the darkness in a lot of images - me too for a good moody scene, however I've had a look in the shadows and there are some fantastic colours and textures in that superb architecture. :)

Love it as it is Dave, plenty of space and moody interest in the shadows. Very nice indeed.

Nice light and colours and yes the lady makes the shot complete but I can't help thinking I'd prefer this with the subject centred laterally....i.e. get rid of the first couple of columns on the left.
