Asahi-Kogaku takumar 50mm f3.5 preset. Fuji x-e2. Processed lightly in LR.

Love this shot, she didn't know I was taking the picture. Taken last summer/fall.

Very nice result. Is this a film and lens preset?

It's a older m40 lens adapted to a mirrorless Fuji camera. Manual focus.

Thanks Roger. There is a lovely softness to this photo. Is this as a result of the lens characteristics?

My Canon 5Diii will not work with none ''electronic'' lenses. How do you get your Fuji to work with these lenses?

Yes, it's the lenses look. Fuji doesn't have a aa filter and that helps the lens shows it's faults as you will. I enjoy these vintage looks, some complain at the Distraction, and yup... :0)

Mirrorless cameras don't have shutters so adaption of lenses is much easier. For example you use a m40 to m42 step up ring , then a m42 to x adapter or in this case someone physically attached a m40 to a exakta adapter , thus I go from exakta to x.
