    Very nice. Personally, I would clone out the leafs at the top of the image, as they draw attention away.

    Very nice. I do find the leaves a tad distracting but they don’t ruin the image for me.

    Almost 3d. I cannot see exif ..what f stop and if you mind, are you blurring the grass starting at the darker green grass? And everything behind it?

    I left the leaves as part of the frame. This shot will be printed for competition and i have not yet decided whether to keep or remove the leaves, will probably do the two versions

    I really like to see animals and insects and all other things I most likely might never see.
    So on this point I think its a top shot and I this the 1st comment about taking the branches away from the top will do a lot
    for this shot. But if you like it that way then forget what has been said.
    I would be happy to put my name to this shot,

    Great moment here.
    I like the leaves, they frame the stag nicely.
    Best you keep it as you like it, as with most photo's, it's what pleases you.
