For some reason or another I have had a 'little bit' of spare time the last couple weeks so I decided to revisit some of my sisters wedding shots. When I originally shot and processed these I was fairly green so I thought they deserved a relook.
Here is a few I have been working on, any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

Nice set, Ryan. I would probably crop, in fact I did have a go. I also removed a few bits with the clone tool.

Sorry Kayak your response to the thread seemed to pass me by.
I like what you have done and I think I agree re the crops of 1 and 3 although maybe not quite as tight as you have gone on #3.
The second shot's position was chosen for the background as they live at the base of that mountain/ volcano and I would imagine they would want it in the shot.
Anyway thanks for commenting as I had nearly forgotten all about this thread :)

Looking at them again, I would probably just crop some sky off and leave the mountain in #2.
I did tidy up the bushes though. I think I removed a boat as well.

I've taken no offence, not sure why you got that impression we all have differing opinions when it comes to how images should look/ be processed. I appreciate any input/ feedback so don't be dissuaded from sharing please.:)

I did decide to give that one another slight messing with using some blended layers(something I have been experimenting with recently).
Added some contrast to the clouds and mountains toned down some glare on the grooms face and clothing and cloned out some of the bits in the grass. I also added some shadow to the gap between the Bride's arm with the flowers and her waist.

Thanks for that Dave, I did like the originals from Ryan and I thought you may have seen my edit as too much - my apologies friend. Here it is in all its glory. I changed the sky to a more happy colour to align with the happy day and gave the background a boost.

Interesting edit, and I'm always happy to see anyone's take on how I can improve my images. You've been hindered no doubt by the small file size and that in itself can make images seem overdone. Taking that into consideration I'm not sure if the enhanced bg works for me or not. I kept it slightly subdued intentionally so as to not detract attention from the bride and groom and keep the main splashes of colour on the flowers and medals. Perhaps it would sit better with me if I edited out some of the far off red and orange wearing beach goers which have photobombed the shot (in the loosest way possible) :)

Thanks for you appraisal Ryan. Small image did not help but it's just my take on it. Many various thing we can do to try and enhance images and we all sere it differently. I did maybe overcook the BG.
