Ended up at Neist Point this evening, the sunset was non existent but the side light half an hour before after a rain shower was epic. This was a four minute exposure.

Four minutes! A strong composition with some nice lighting. Maybe cloan out some of the spots on the sea????

Wow that's quite the shot and quite the exposure time to go with it. Think Mike might be on to something with the spots they tend to draw my eye from the lighthouse.

Gorgeous Barry! Beautiful light, and I love the sweep of the headland.
Just a niggle...may be my computer, but is the horizon absolutely level? Looks a fraction down on the right.

I think the big spot is a bit distracting, I'll remove it. Thanks Mike

It's amazing what you can get away with when using 4 inch spikes deep in the ground and a really good tripod even in high wind as it was here yesterday.

Beautiful light. Great shot!
Thanks David!

You were right Pete, 0.2 degrees low on the right. I think it looks more because the haze is thicker on the right obscuring the true horizon a little.

I like that - nice colours and interesting movement.
Thanks Stephen!

I like the timeless feel, mystical and dreamy.
But.
Are the rocks blurry? I feel for something so strong they should be more rugged and sharp?

On the full size image even viewed at 100% they are razor sharp so it's probably a resize issue, 1024 isn't enough resolution to do justice to the detail here.
