I do like this with the BW. Perhaps make the eye pop a bit more.
Cheers Mike, I suppose the eye could do with a little highlighting for the conversion but it is a naturally dark eye compared to its surrounding tissue anyway so i tried to keep it as is.
Great shot. The lighting makes it look almost like a wood carving

Thanks Sharon, the keepers weren't best pleased when I hopped the fence to apply mascara for the photo shoot. Then again neither was the hornbill.;)
