Not sure where to post (Sport? Portrait?Mono?) I post here this series.

A friend of mine (the bald one in the photos) teaches Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan), and asked me to make a short portfolio. Here are some samples. The main problem were the mirrors that reflected flashes. My aim was to show interaction, not static poses.
Advice and critiques are welcome.
Taken before lockdown, of course.

Interesting job you have there. I think you are right in the first two the mirror is a bit of a distraction and although there's no need to be technically perfect, a plain background to make the subjects stand out with the flash would be the way to go. The third one is very demonstrative of some technique and even though there are others behind, it stands out with the flash.
Maybe you can learn some moves on your missus

Thanks!
I agree, a plain background would have been better, but he wanted to show also the gym.
BTW I'm also an expert pratictioner

If we lived in a perfect world there'd be no need for worry, anyone with a cellphone could do it. To overcome the challenges and still get the shot speaks highly of your skill set. Well done.
