The Liver building, Liverpool

    It's been some time since I've used the camera, but at the weekend I went to Liverpool and took this shot hand held. It was taken at sunset when there was a bit of nice light hitting the Liver building, while there was some nice mood in the sky. A bit of split toning applied to this image to emphasise the mood of the scene.

    Any comments most welcome, cheers.

    I love the light on the building, Ryan. I'm not sure it needs all that foreground though. Have you looked at a square crop from the top of this?

    Thank you Roger. I did indeed consider a square crop, but settled for the original aspect in the end. Below is the crop, which is a different image, but works in its own way. It's not quite square, as I felt it needed that bit of height to work.
