It looks like you took a gray day and turned it really dank here. Love the composition.

It's not that tall Steve, be lucky if it's 30-35 ft. You could scramble up it in seconds.

Thanks Jen, plenty more to come along with a few surprises. Went all John Maher when I was there.
Wanted to photograph the people of the islands more this year as there's a few fabulous characters out there. Saw Ina, a local legend and famous for her Highland cattle. She was in a field tending to her cattle. Stopped and asked her friend if she'd mind if I went in to the field to take her portrait and was firmly told no. :(

Gives me feelings of isolation and loneliness. Love the picture, and the cute little tree on the top.

Not as romantic as a tree unfortunately Peter, horrible hogweed but I do like it sitting way up there. :)
    Cheers Peter.

What a brilliant formation, really like that. The comp and pp are very nice. Did you use an ND filter?

    Thanks Rob and Pierre.

Glad you think it was huge, framed and composed to give that illusion.

Thanks, a different beach with different features, light and mood Mike so was always going to come out a little bit different.

Thanks. Honestly can't remember Ryan but probably used a Little Stopper and definitely had the Lee landscape polariser on which gives two stops. Looking at the exif it's 4 seconds @ f/13 & 160 iso so probably used a little stopper.
