A great day out at Cosford Airshow on Sunday. Plenty of photos to trawl through when I've got a day spare but a very quick edit of the RAF Typhoon display...

    It's a cracker Jason.
What was the cloud cover like, were they able to do a full display?

I can’t believe how lucky we were with the weather and the show in general. It threw it down for two days before the show but, somehow, Cosford avoided the rain aside from ten seconds of drizzle on the Sunday. It got a bit cloudy at times and the wind picked up here and there but we stayed dry. I could see heavy rain on the horizon all around, it stuck over the Shropshire Hills for ages. My sister in law said there were thunderstorms in Shrewsbury. The Grippen pilot couldn’t practise his display before the show as some fu***ng muppet decided to fly a drone near the airbase. Don’t know if the police caught them.

Falcons jumped from 3000ft. Reds got broken, high cloud so did a full display. Hornet was just catching the cloud base at top of his loops. BBMF did two passes with Lanc and 2 spits then Lanc did one pass and went home as not allowed to display yet. Everything else ok.
