Photography since age 9 when I saw a print image coming alive in a tray. I had a home darkroom since about age 14 that eventually had a 4x5 Beseler color head, printing wedding proofs. The darkroom went away with the film cameras. I still have my first and only 5x7 (Burke and James) view camera. Lots of weddings when they were needed to pay the rent, many years ago, shot with Mamiya twin lens bodies and lenses with manual flash.
I spent the better part of 43 years working in prepress in very small to very large offset printing plants. Digital prepress since 1987 using Scitex systems. The last 15 years or so I was Color Manager in a large offset plant performing press calibrations using G7 methods and providing customer training and support.
Now? Living in a rural valley of farms, forests and mountains. And adding new photos to the website as images present themselves.
