What are you listening to today

After Tenchy's Chris de Bleurgh reference in another thread thought it would be interesting to see what got your ear at the moment. For me its all about the blues at the moment and my current favourite is Gary Clarke Jr. This should give you a good flavour of what he's about. I'm always looking for new stuff to listen to so thought it might be fun for people to share their current favourites.

I just re-listened to the Beatles Anthology 1-3, six CDs of studio and live stuff that wasn't on their albums. From the Hamburg days right through to their last sessions together.

A lot of it is a fascinating insight into how raw tunes on an acoustic guitar (for example) are ultimately turned into polished pop standards.

I dont listen to a great deal of music - I listen to the radio in the car and occasionally put the telly on in the studio but have it on a radio station, normally Smooth Radio as I like all the oldies from the 70's 80's!

All I can hear at the moment is my partner moaning about a Seat caliper that is being a PITA.

pottering on here and playing with lightroom and got some Rush blasting out
Can't beat a bit of Rush, might well have a listen tonight when I'm down the driving range.

Don't mind a bit of 70/80s but I have to say Smooth radio is not for me, Absolute 80's is a better listen.

I know how that is, you should hear her when I put something like Black Stone Cherry on.

That's a bugger when that happens. Ok Amon Tobin as in the below? If so I will have a listen over the weekend I think.

that's the one, and that was hands down the best stage and light show I have ever seen. The only thing that let the gig down was the audience talking all the way through it (pretentious C$cks)

if your going to check him out, have a look for 'out from out where', that's my fave album

I tend to listen to LBC most mornings, then switch to a rock station so could be anything but late 60s 70s rock is for me.
