I'm going to be making a print for my new house and wanted to get some critiquing on a couple of my photos before sending to the final print stage. I'm thinking metal 20 x 30. Thanks! 403f9e4bbc8d8cc94ab53daedc9634f6.jpg

I think #2, but agree you should post larger to get feedback.

Right on thanks! Not sure how to post larger. I think you can click on the images though. It won't let me post larger for some reason.

For me, the eye of #2 just has the edge over the others, but not by much. Cracking shots

Awesome thank you guys for your feedback! I'm kinda leaning to #2 as well! That was a hard angle to capture, stoked it came out as sharp as it did

Really like image 2 and 3, but any of these would look great printed on metal.

Excellent photographs and I like the second especially - in my opinion they'd look great in a bathroom with the tiling using the same colours.

And now, if I may, I'm going to put my critical (tin!) hat on - the reason the second is my favourite is with the third the focusing isn't 100% perfect on the surfer. Pretty good and an immensely difficult shot to get correct but I'd still give it 8/10 as the colours are very complimentary and the composition is just right.

With the first, it looks a little over sharpened on first glance and then the eye wanders to the foreground which I find rather over powering - I'm wondering if the foreground should be cropped out entirely.

The second has a similar foreground but it's having much less impact on the overall image and, if anything, looks rather menacing. I really like the suspension of that piece of foam in the centre of the photograph and would like to see a more sharpened version of this photograph.

I don't normally give such wordy/verbose thoughts to photographs and when I do it's because I like them - this set really appeals to me and if I'd taken these photographs these are the things I'd be looking for, for when I next went out to take surfing photos.

Back to the main theme - great set!

Thank you for providing that awesome feedback! What you provided is perfect and I will definitely give it a go, especially with the tile matching tip. I really appreciate it for sure and is exactly the type of critique I'm looking for to help me become a better photographer. Much aloha!
