Hi all,

I had been watching this scene for some time, waiting for the right light to enhance the scene, whilst out walking the dog the light was about as good as I had seen it n a few days, and as we were leaving the next day, it was now or never.

C&C Always welcome

Regards

Great tones and colours, and the smoothed out water works well, and the tree stems have good contrast with the surroundings. Was this a hand held long exposure? Just looks like a touch of movement blur in the trees

Thnx Peter,

I think the slight blurring of the trees was due to a restless dog on a lead who wanted to go home, well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

It was hand held and I didn't have a tripod with me.

Regards

I like the composition and the symmetry. Would have been better shot from a tripod, but you work with what you have at the moment.

Sorry but the lack of sharpness kills the picture dead in it's tracks. It's a delete and re-take I'm afraid.

Barry am I correct in saying that your shot was taken on the north side of the inlet, maybe near the river mouth? if so next time your down this way go out to the south side ,the Nullaki Peninsula.
