Lovely photos of a House Sparrow...............:)
Yup, looks like a sparrow to me too.
Very common in UK. I have a 'gang' of about 20 of them that hang out in my tree.
Nice shots of it btw, but would clone out the twigs in #3 at the top of the picture perhaps as they draw the eye slightly.

It's a Sparrow, and nice shots of it, too.
The Carolina Wren is reddish brown with white eyebrow slashes and keeps the tail up at a 45-60 degree angle.

Good sparrow shots. Used to see hoards of these when I was a kid but rarely see any now for some reason.

And yeah- i was thinking "house" and yet i am not so smart on the smaller birds.
And did have in mind about cloning those twigs.
I am greeted by them at home- but these were not from there.
